Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

Aging gracefully is about feeling confident and comfortable in your skin

At EYB Aesthetics, we believe that aging gracefully is about feeling confident and comfortable in your skin. Explore our range of anti-wrinkle treatments designed to rejuvenate and refresh your appearance, without sacrificing your natural beauty.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments for the Upper Face:

The upper face is often the first area to show signs of aging, with wrinkles and fine lines appearing around the eyes, forehead, and brows. Our anti-wrinkle treatments for the upper face target these common concerns, helping to smooth and soften lines for a more youthful and refreshed look.

Crow's Feet: Crow's feet, or lines that form around the outer corners of the eyes, can be effectively treated with anti-wrinkle injections. By relaxing the muscles responsible for these wrinkles, our treatments can minimize the appearance of crow's feet, revealing smoother, more youthful-looking skin.

Forehead Lines: Horizontal forehead lines can be a telltale sign of aging, causing the face to look tired or stressed. Our anti-wrinkle treatments target these lines, helping to soften their appearance and restore a smoother, more relaxed forehead.

Glabellar Lines:  Also known as frown lines or "11" lines, glabellar lines are vertical wrinkles that form between the eyebrows. Our anti-wrinkle injections can help reduce the depth and visibility of these lines, giving you a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.

Bunny Lines: Bunny lines are the diagonal wrinkles that form on the bridge of the nose when you scrunch or wrinkle your nose. Our anti-wrinkle treatments can help soften these lines, giving you a smoother and more youthful appearance.

Jelly Roll: Jelly roll, or infraorbital festoons, refers to the puffiness or bags under the eyes that can develop with age. Our anti-wrinkle treatments can help reduce the appearance of jelly roll, restoring a more refreshed and youthful look to the upper face.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments for the Lower Face:

Gummy Smile Treatment: A gummy smile occurs when a large portion of the gums is visible when smiling. Our anti-wrinkle treatments can help relax the muscles that elevate the upper lip excessively, resulting in a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing smile.

I

Chin Dimpling: Chin dimpling, or "orange peel" texture, can occur due to repetitive muscle movements and loss of collagen in the skin. Our anti-wrinkle injections can help smooth and refine the skin on the chin, reducing the appearance of dimpling and restoring a smoother, more youthful texture.

DAO Muscle Treatment: The depressor anguli oris (DAO) muscles, located at the corners of the mouth, can contribute to a downturned or frowning appearance. Our anti-wrinkle treatments can target these muscles, helping to lift the corners of the mouth and restore a more youthful and relaxed expression.

Lip Flip: A lip flip involves using anti-wrinkle injections to relax the muscles around the upper lip, causing the lip to gently roll outward and appear fuller. This non-invasive treatment can enhance the appearance of the upper lip, creating a more defined and youthful smile.

Perioral Lines: Perioral lines, also known as smoker's lines or lipstick lines, are the fine lines and wrinkles that form around the mouth due to repetitive facial expressions, sun exposure, and aging. These lines can detract from the overall appearance of the smile and contribute to an aged or tired look. Using anti-wrinkle can be an effective treatment option for improving the appearance of perioral lines.

Jawline Contouring: Jawline contouring using anti-wrinkle injections can help enhance and define the jawline, creating a more sculpted and balanced facial profile. By targeting specific muscles along the jawline, our treatments can improve facial harmony and contouring, enhancing your natural beauty and confidence.

Masseter Reduction: Masseter reduction involves injecting anti-wrinkle treatments into the masseter muscles, which are responsible for chewing and clenching the jaw. By relaxing these muscles, our treatments can help reduce jawline width, soften a square jawline, and alleviate symptoms of teeth grinding or jaw tension.

Nefertiti Neck Lift: The Nefertiti Neck Lift is a non-surgical technique that uses anti-wrinkle injections to redefine the jawline and improve the appearance of the neck. By targeting specific muscles in the lower face and neck, this treatment can create a more sculpted and youthful contour, enhancing your overall profile.

Botox for Sweating (Hyperhidrosis):

In addition to its cosmetic uses, Botox can also be used to treat excessive sweating, a condition known as hyperhidrosis. Botox injections are administered into the sweat glands in the affected area, such as the underarms, palms, or soles of the feet. The neurotoxin temporarily blocks the nerve signals that stimulate sweat production, reducing excessive sweating.

If you're considering anti-wrinkle treatment, here's what you can generally expect:

1. Consultation: Before undergoing treatment, you'll have a consultation. Botox is a prescription-only medication hence this needs to be with a prescriber. During this consultation, you'll discuss your aesthetic goals, medical history, and any concerns you may have and recommend a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

2. Preparation: On the day of your treatment, there is typically minimal preparation required. You may be advised to avoid certain medications, such as blood thinners, in the days leading up to your appointment to minimise the risk of bruising. Any pre-treatment instructions with you prior to your appointment.

3. Treatment Process: The treatment itself is relatively quick and straightforward. We will use a fine needle to inject small amounts of the neurotoxin into targeted facial muscles. Depending on the areas being treated, multiple injections may be administered. Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure, often describing it as a slight pinch or sting.

4. Immediate Effects: Following the injections, you may experience some minor redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites. These side effects are usually temporary and subside within a few hours to days. The full effects of Botox typically become apparent within a few days up to two weeks.

5. Results: The results of the anti-wrinkle treatment vary from person to person but generally last for three to four months. During this time, you can expect to enjoy smoother, more youthful-looking skin with reduced wrinkles and fine lines. As the effects begin to wear off, you may notice a gradual return of muscle movement and the reappearance of wrinkles. To maintain your results, follow-up treatments are typically recommended after three months.

6. Recovery and Aftercare: After your treatment, there is minimal downtime, allowing you to resume your normal activities immediately. However, it's important not to lie down for 4 hours, and not to exercise ideally for up to 24 hours, and also to avoid rubbing or massaging the treated areas for the first 24 hours to prevent the spread of the neurotoxin. Also to avoid excessive sun exposure and certain medications for a short period following treatment.

7. Follow-Up: Following your Botox treatment, you may need a follow-up appointment to assess your results and address any concerns you may have. This appointment also provides an opportunity to discuss future treatment plans and maintenance schedules to help you achieve your desired aesthetic goals.

8. Long-Term Benefits: In addition to its cosmetic benefits, Botox treatment can also have long-term benefits for some individuals. For example, regular Botox injections may help prevent the formation of new wrinkles by reducing muscle movement and preventing repetitive facial expressions.
